The Dennigans of Tomiskey
In any case, sometime between January 1892 and March 1901, Laurence Dennigan and family moved from Corragarrow to Tomiskey. It seems likely to have happened around 1898.

Of the 10 children born to Laurence and Anne, 7 were still living and at home. The missing three were:
Thomas John, who has been shown by other research to have joined the army
The Bernard who was born in 1879 and died in 1884
Elizabeth who was born in 1889.
On 17th December 1900 Laurence Dennigan purchased outright 44 acres of his farm from the landlord, Crofton.31 The cost was £504 and he received funds under the Land Act of 1891. On November 26th, 1901, he purchased a further 63 acres under the Land Act, this time for £306.32 Records of these purchases can be seen on Page 29.
Laurence and Anne were still in Tomiskey on 3rd April, 1911, as shown by the Census of that year (see Page 33). The details are summarised below.
