The Second Generation

The second generation of this family consists of John (born 1837), Ann (born 1838), Laurence (born 1840), and Mary Dennigan (born 1848). This study does not make any serious attempt to follow up on the lives of John, Ann or Mary Dennigan. But much study has already taken place into Laurence Dennigan, and this section of the document is aimed at enhancing what is known. A pedigree of this generation and its ancestry and descendants is on Page 31.

It was already known that Laurence Dennigan married Anne Clyne in 1877. The relevant details were obtained from the General Register Office (GRO) and are given next.
